Harvest Wine Bar is the fourth restaurant endeavor for siblings Kleber, Nube, and Vicente Siguenza. Over the past ten years, their passion for food and wine combined with an abiding dedication for excellent customer service has become their recipe for success.
Harvest offers modern American custom cuisine with Asian, Latin, and Mediterranean influence as well as an extensive wine list from the United States and around the world. By supporting local and organic farms, Harvest makes it a top priority to serve the freshest and highest quality ingredients. Come in and try it for yourself and enjoy custom cuisine from farm to fork. Please visit our sister restaurants 55 Wine Bar and Restaurant in Fairfield, Cava Wine Bar and Restaurant in New Canaan, and Scena Wine Bar and Restaurant in Darien.
Executive Chef: Nube Siguenza
Chef Nube Siguenza’s modern approach to Italian cuisine with local ingredients, fresh seasonal menus and a family principle of hospitality.
Executive Chef Nube, works closely with her brothers, Kleber and Vicente, on menu development and execution. Chef Nube marries her passion for food and her classical training to innovate while remaining true to her Italian inspiration and Latin American style. No stranger to the intricacies of the palate, the siblings recently received The Best of the Gold Coast Award, where the Harvest Wine Bar was highlighted as one of the region’s best.
Inside Harvest Wine Bar, guests are transported to a subterranean enclave that is a one-of-a-kind space. The distinguished history that connects the building to the Connecticut Gold Coast is prominently displayed in the main dining room, “ensconced in a wine-cellar-like setting”, to provide the ideal temperature all year round for the storage of wine and the enjoyment of guests, from which the venue takes its name.
Our mission is to share our passion for fine wine and excellent food in a relaxed, and inviting atmosphere. To create a meeting place where everyone feels welcome and leaves feeling satisfied! To provide a wonderful experience by offering a generous selection of wines, a full bar, superior cuisine, and friendly, attentive service. We hope to tailor our menu to our patrons, offering the freshest, seasonal ingredients, and superior quality of products from local sources.
Committed To Fresh Ingredients
In a food culture where “Farm to Fork’ is an exhausted concept, it’s hard to know how connected we really are to our food. The Owners themselves take the 3 hour drive to Sweet Tree Farms in the hills of the Western Catskills to pick up freshly deboned beef from Grass-Fed cows to bring back to each of the restaurants to be hand butchered and used for our burgers, steaks, and pasta dishes. We have a local mushroom purveyor in Newtown, CT who helps us to hand select mushrooms from his latest foraging bounty. When in season, we peruse the local farmers markets for inspiration. We work with wineries to provide seasonal pairings to partner with the changing food on our menu. At all of our Harvest Wine Bar Restaurants we are at our core concept committed to create the future of farm to fork where our food speaks for itself.
